​ St. Peter’s Higher Secondary School, Karan Bagh is an English medium school founded under the aegis of Diocese of Jammu Srinagar, a registered and charitable society and was established in the year 2001. There are classes from Nursery to XII based on the Curriculum laid down by CISCE, New Delhi. The policy of Education in the schools run by the Diocese of Jammu-Srinagar Education Society is based on the life and teaching of Lord Jesus Christ. This policy encompasses the development of GROWING CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE HUMAN DIGNITY AND THE RIGHT OF EVERY PERSON. This enables person to LIVE IN FELLOWSHIP AND MUTUAL HELPFULNESS. THIS CONCERN IS FOR ALL GOD’S PEOPLE WITHIN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY where the school is situated especially for those of Christian faith and materially poor. Education also includes the DEVELOPMENT OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL enabling a person to BE A LOYAL CITIZEN, PEACEFUL AND JUST IN THIS WORLD. In this way, God’s plan for His world may be realized and mankind may attain the fullness of life.

St. Peter’s Higher Secondary School, Karan Bagh, Jammu is permanently affiliated to CISCE, New Delhi. The school having affiliated to Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations prepares students for both ICSE and ISC curriculum. It is with great pleasure and pride that I highlight the significance of the CISCE Board and its curriculum at our school. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) offers a holistic and comprehensive educational framework that prepares students for a successful future.
